Little Bit Lavish October 2016 Unboxing!

Hello everyone,

Today's post is going to be an unboxing of a monthly subscription box I recently discovered called Little Bit Lavish. The box is designed for those who want a treat for themselves every moth, and the products included in the box are designed for you to make some time for yourself, and enjoy a pamper. There are 5-7 products in every box, and they are mostly full size. All the products in the box are cruelty-free and are mostly organic/natural. Every month the box has a different theme, and the products are chosen to suit that theme. The box comes in different subscription packages, but if you want to pay monthly the box is £20 with free UK shipping. Shipping to Europe is £6 and the rest of the world is £10. You can find out more about the box via the website here.

This month the theme of the box was Sweet Dreams. All of the products in this box are designed to help you relax and calm down in the evening. and also help to aid sleep. There are six products in this month's box.

The first item in this month's box is from Bloomtown Botanicals, which is a brand I have been recently introduced to, and have tried a few products from. The product inside the box is the Rose Garden Bath Salts, which come in a lovely glass bottle, and have a really lovely subtle rose scent. The salts are made with pink Himalayan salt, sweet almond oil and vitamin E, so are a very nourishing addition to your bath. The full size of this product retails for £10. This product is also free from palm oil, animal products, wheat, SLS, detergents, sulphates, parabens and synthetic colours.

The second item in the box is the Clipper Snore and Peace tea. You get four individully wrapped tea-bags in the box, which I think is a great number to give it a try. The tea is made with organic chamomile, lemon balm and lavender infusion, so is very relaxing and great before bed. A full pack of these teabags retails for £2.25.This tea is also organic.

The next item in the box is the Tisserand Sweet Dreams Pillow Mist. This is a full size product, and retails for £12.95. It is made with a blend of lavender, sandalwood and jasmine pure essential oils, and is used by spraying of your pillow/bedding/nightwear to help you relax and aid sleep. This spray is very relaxing and I love the scent.

Next in the box is a product by a brand called Kiss The Moon. This is a brand I've never heard of before, so it's really nice to be able to try new brands. The product in the box was the After Dark Balm, which comes in two vareties; Dream and Calm. In my box, I got the Dream variation. The balm is used by rubbing it onto the pulse points and temples when having trouble with relaxing/sleeping. The Dream balm contains lavender and is made from a 100% natural combination of their signature essential oils with shea butter to make it soft and nourishing for the skin. The full size of this product is £16 and there is also a discount code included which is 'Hello15' which gets you 15% off your first order at the Kiss The Moon website.

The next product in the box is from Siskyn, which is another brand I hadn't heard of before. The product in the box is the Frankincense and Jasmine Night Facial Oil. This is blended with 18 different plant and flower oils. The oil contains ingredients to help increase collagen production, even skin tone and aid skin maintenance. This blend in particualar is great for all skin types, This is a full size product and retails for £32.

The final product in the box is the Jasmine Silk Sleep Eye mask. This is available in six different colours, and I got the Grey colour, which almost like a light silver. The mask is handmade using 100% pure mulberry silk and charmeuse silk. It is really gentle on the eye and the natural amino acids in the silk are said to be beneficial for the skin. This retails for £11 and is full size.

Overall, I was really impressed with the products in the box. All the products together retail to over £55, so considering the box is £20 you definitely get your money's worth. You can see the products have been carefully selected and I love the theme. I think this is one of the best subscription boxes I have seen and I would definitely recommend it. I'm excited to see what other boxes they come out with!
