Denman Hair Brushes Review!

Hello Everyone!
Today I am going to be doing a review post on a brand called Denman. I have been using Denman brushes for nearly four years now, and they are my go to for hair brushes. I have quite a few of the brushes now, and so I thought I'd do a post all about the brushes I have, and my thoughts.

The brushes are available from both the Denman website, and some Boots stores, as well as the Boots website. There are many different styles, sizes and types of brush to suit all different hair types. The brushes are all well priced, and they are made to a great quality.

The first brush I tried was the D83 Paddle Brush. This is aimed at people with long, thick hair. It has ball-ended nylon pins, which are set into the air cushioned rubber pad, which help to smooth and straighten the hair. The handle is matte finish, providing grip and control. This brush is also great for calming down frizz and flyaways. This brush is £12.75, and you can find it here. This is my favourite brush to use, I use it every single day. It really helps to manage my hair, and makes it super smooth and sleek.

The second brush I tried is the new Tangle Tamer Ultra. This is available in seven different colours; blue, yellow, black, green, purple, orange and pink. I got the blue one, as blue is my favourite colour. The Tangle Tamer Ultra is a large version of the Tangle Tamer, which allows stylists to detangle long and thick hair. The brush has super-soft nylon bristles which gently glide through the hair, removing tangles. The air-cushioned pad follows the contour of the head for smooth and damage free grooming. I again use this brush every day, it's a go to brush as it is so gentle on the hair but also helps smooth and get rid of tangles. I absolutely love this brush and think it a great one for children too. You can find the brushes on the website here, priced at £12.50 each.

The next brush I have been using is the Thermo Neon Hot Curl brush. There are four different sizes, which are colour coded. I got the pink barrel, which is the largest at 48mm. The other sizes are: Green: 16mm, Orange: 30mm and Blue: 38mm. The heat-retaining barrels mean that greater amounts of heat is absorbed, so there is a faster blow drying time. You can also create curls with the brushes, but wrapping your hair around the barrel for a few seconds while drying. I would say this is my least used brush of them all, but I do like this when I am looking for something a little more, for example if I am going to an event or occasion. I like the effect it gives and it helps to give my hair that oomph without really doing anything different. You can find the brushes on the website here ranging from £10.25 to £15.

The next brush is the D91 Dress-Out Brush. This brush has a slender pin tail, which makes the perfect sectioning tool. It is also helpful for taming stray strands of hair when creating updo's. The bristles are made from nylon, which provide grip and control, especially when working with long hair. The stiffness of the bristles makes this brush ideal for backcombing and teasing hair. This brush is also recommended for use on wigs and extensions. It comes in one colour, which is a pink/purple shade. I like using this brush every now and again, especially when I put my hair up. It provides a great level of volume through backcombing and doesn't damage my hair. You can find this brush here for £5.

The final brush is the D6 Detangling brush. This is a wet-to-dry brush, which is available in six different shades; orange, purple, green, yellow, blue and pink. I got the green colour. This is quite a small brush, which can be used in the shower to massage the scalp, which stimulates circulation and therefore hair growth, but it can also be used on damp hair to detangle. The brush can be used to gently work styling products through the hair. I like to use this brush on damp hair, as it detangles really well without damaging the hair as the bristles are very soft. This brush can be found here for £5.

Overall, I am so impressed and happy with all of the Denman brushes I tried. They are my go to brand for brushes, and the only brush brand I own. I really think good quality hair brushes are a great thing to invest in, and I love the way these brushes make my hair look and feel. They really make a difference and I love them! I definitely recommend checking them out.

Thanks so much for reading,
