Today's post is going to be all about Elegant Touch. I did a post on the Elegant Touch false nails which you can find here, but as well as false nails Elegant Touch actually have a nail care raange, called Nail Apothecary. All of the range is on the website here, which has all the info you need as well as the option to buy.
My nails are in pretty bad condition, and so when I found out this range was available I was so excited. I recently tried out the full range, and here are my thoughts!
In total there are eight products in the range. They products range from nail care, to products to help your nail polish to last longer. All of the products are under £10 and range from £6.95-£8.95, meaning they are really affordable. You can either buy the products direct from the Elegant Touch website, or in store at Boots or at Boots.com.
The first product in the range is the Cuticle Elixr. This is similar to a cuticle oil, and has the same consistency/feel. This product helps to soften the cuticle, to make it easier to work with, as well as making the skin deeply hydrated and smooth. You apply the product like a nail polish, on the cuticle area and you can either leave it to sink in or massage it into the cuticle. You can find this here for £7.95.
The next product is the Cuticle Eliminator. This product helps to soften the cuticle, and makes it really easy to remove. It makes pushing back cuticles pain-free, and helps to combat dry and broken cuticles. This product in particular was actually a finalist in the 2015 Beauty Awards. I like to use this as a special treatment when my cuticles are in very poor condition. It really helps to soften them and makes them a lot easier to manage. This product is recommended for use with the 24K Gold Ridge Filler. You can find this here for £7.95.
The next product is the 24K Gold Ridge Filler, which helps to improve the overall appearance of the nails, and works to fill in any ridges. It has a UV filter, which helps to guard the nail and protect it from discolouration and yellowing. This product contains Lingonberry seed oil, which helps to moisturize and protect the nail, and supports nail growth. I really like wearing this either alone as it dries clear but has little gold sparkles or under nail polish for a really great base. You can find it here for £8.95.
Next is the ToughFlex Base Coat, which is used under nail polish as it creates a strong bond between the nail and nail polish, and makes the nail polish last longer. This also contains keratin which helps to strengthen and improve the nail quality. I really enjoy using this under nail polish, as it makes it look and last better. You can find this here for £6.95.
The next product is the Nail Quencher. This is formulated for dry and brittle nails, as it is ultra-moisturising, restores and soothes dehydrated nails as well as promoting nail growth. This is an all round great product for your nails, whether long or short and helps to keep them in great condition. It has a very slight pink sheer colour, which makes your nails look really healthy. Also in the range is the Gel Effect top coat. This is used on top of nail polish to create a gel-like effect. It makes the nails look very plumped and shiny, and helps to prevent chipping. Again, this was a Beauty Awards 2015 finalist. I really love the final look when using this, it makes nail polish look super shiny and professional. I found it helps to make my nail polish last longer, especially when combined with the ToughFlex Base Coat I mentioned earlier. You can find this here for £6.95.
The next treatment in the range is the Nail Armour. This is enriched with keratin and collagen, and helps to strenghten and harden soft and brittle nails. It has a slightly peach/pink tint which helps to make your nails look really healthy. This is great to use if you bite your nails but are trying to grow them out and strengthen them. It is vitamin and protein rich and so prevents breakage. You can find this here for £7.95.
The final product in the collection is the Nail Growth. This is used to form a layer over the nail, protecting it from damage and flaking whilst boosting protein production within the nail. It is full of vitamins and helps to increase collagen. This is a recommended product for rebuilding nails after salon manicures. You can find this here for £7.95.
Overall, I am really impressed and happy with the collection. For the price, all of the products are of amazing quality and I really enjoy using them on a day-to-day basis. I'm excited to see if they bring anything new to the range soon!
