DEGUSTABOX UNBOXING - MAY 2018!

 Hi everyone!

Today I am unboxing the May 2018 edition of Degustabox, which is a brand I have spoken about lots on my social media over the past few months, and have been doing an unboxing every month since August 2017! This month's box has a World Cup theme, and as always is available from the Degustabox websiteInstagram or Facebook pages. The box is £12.99 a month, but I do have a (non-affiliate) which is 'SRMJ9', taking your first box down to £7.99 including postage!

So, on to what's inside the box! There were two versions of the box this month, the alcohol version and the non-alcohol version. The products marked with an '*' are the either/or products, and will depend on the box you get!

PRODUCTS OF THE MONTH - SANTA MARIA LATIN AMERICAN KITCHEN CARIBBEAN CREAMY CHICKEN CURRY SEASONING MIX (RRP: £1.00) & MINI COCONUT AND BLACK PEPPER SOFT TORTILLAS (RRP:£1.50)
The products of the month are from the brand Santa Maria, and come from their Latin American Kitchen range. The first is the Caribbean Creamy Chicken Curry seasoning mix. Described as 'inspired by Indo-Caribbean food and with it's mild curry flavour, goes perfectly with chicken and cream. Alternatively, use with vegetables and coconut milk to suit vegan/vegetarian/lactose free diets'. I haven't tried this yet but it sounds great!

The other product in the box is the Mini Coconut & Black Pepper Soft Tortillas, described as 'soft & flavoured 6' wheat flour tortillas. These irresistible little tortillas are deliciously flavoured with coconut, lime and black pepper - all typical Caribbean ingredients. The slightly sweet flavour of coconut with the tanginess of the lime make it perfect to fill with flavour-intense or spicy food.' These I really enjoyed and would definitely buy in the future, they tasted great!

SAY ALOE REDUCED SUGAR DRINK (RRP:£1.49)
Described as ''Real pieces of aloe vera give the drink its unique texture, and its clean and refreshing flavour makes it deliciously refreshing. Say Aloe is also rich in vitamin C with no artificial flavours or colours". One of two flavours will be included in each Degustabox, and I had the grape flavour. I really liked this drink and have already bought it, and would definitely recommend it!

CIRIO PASTA SAUCE - TOMATO & PARMESAN (RRP:£2)
The next item in the box is from the brand Cirio, which is launching in the UK from Italy. They have brought out two new pasta sauce recipies, Tomato & Parmesan, and Tomato and Legumes. Described as being 'made with 100% top Italian ingredient for a genuine and tasty dish'. I am yet to try this, but it does sound very nice. You will receive one of the two flavours in your Degustabox. If you received the March box you should now receive the other flavour in this month's box.
