Today's post is going to be a review of two products I recently tried from a skincare brand called Jurlique. Both of the products I mention below can be found on the Jurlique website here.
The first product I tried from Jurlique is the Calendula Redness Restorative Rescue Serum. This serum is aimed at people with sensitive skin, and helps to create a barrier between the skin and environmental causes of damage, as well as helping to restore the skin's natural defenses. On application, it's a thin gel and is very cooling and soothing, especially on troubled skin. I found this really helped calm my skin down and did minimize redness. It is not overly hydrating, which I like as I can use it in combination with my usual moisturiser, and it goes under makeup well without interfering with the look. This really helped to calm my rosacea and I have been really enjoying using it. It sinks into the skin quickly and doesn't leave any residue. You can find this here for £45.
The next item I tried from Jurlique is the Rose Silk Finishing Powder. This is a rose-scented fine translucent loose powder, and to put it simply: I absolutely love this! It's non-clogging. easy to apply. ultra fine and keeps my skin looking flawless, matte without looking dull and also sets my makeup really well. It really helps to reduce shine without making my skin look flat and it gives a natural finish. This is by far one of the nicest loose powders I have tried and I would really recommend trying it out. This is suitable for all skin tones, and I would say it's suitable for all skin types too, especially combination/oily types. You can find this here for £26.
Overall, I was really impressed with both Jurlique products. The powder is now one of my favourites and I use both items on a regular basis. I would really recommend both and am definitely going to consider purchasing Jurlique products in the future.
