Hello Everyone!
Today's post is going to be a super fun and exciting post, as it is all about Korean beauty products! Korean beauty products are known for being really unique and innovative, so here's my opinion on a few things I have tried.
I got all of the products mentioned from a website called The Silk Rose, a Korean beauty product distributor. You can check out their website here, which has everything on.
The first product is from a brand called Goodal, and it is the Fun Fun travel kit. This costs £20, and can be found here. This kit consists of four of the best-selling Goodal face masks. The face masks included are:
1. Deep Clean Pore Glacial Clay Wash-Off Mask. This is said to purify, deeply cleanse, minimise pores, and soothe the skin. This was my favourite of the masks, as it was really purifying, and you can really feel it drawing all the excess oil and dirt from your face. This is a wash off mask, and it was really easy to use. You could easily get two uses from the pot.
2. Keeping Youth Coconut Wash-Off mask. This is designed to provide nutrients to your skin, as well as helping to improve elasticity, and hydrate the skin. Again, this mask you could get two uses from. This mask does have coconut pulp in so it is quite a unique consistency, and does feel a bit weird, but it is very moisturizing and really plumps the skin.
3. Moisture Sleep Cream Pack - This mask is said to really moisturize, and plump the skin. This is an overnight mask, and is like an intense moisturizing gel. The ingredients include Aloe Vera and oatmeal extract which are both well known for their moisturizing properties.
4. Brightening Sleep Cream Pack - This mask is designed for overnight use, and it is supposed to help by waking up tired and dull skin.
All of the masks are travel friendly, and contain 10ml of product.
The next product I tried was also from Goodal, and it is the prunella pore care mask. These come in a back of five, and you can find them here. The masks cost £15 for a pack of five. They are sheet style masks, so are really easy and mess free. The masks are designed to draw out excess sebum and impurities from pores. It also helps to soften the skin, and hydrates the skin. The masks are also free from parabens, synthetic fragrance, synthetic dye, and SLS. I found the masks really helped to minimise the pores, and made the skin feel really fresh and clean.
The next product is from Mizon, and it is the Placenta Ampoule Cream. You can find this here. The cream is £25.50 for 50ml. The 'placenta' element of the cream is made from budding plants. It is a double functioning cream, improving the skin tone and reducing the look of wrinkles. This is a very intensely nourishing and moisturizing cream, and really great if you have more mature skin.
Next is another product from Mizon, the Snail Repair Foam Cleanser. This is £11.90 and you can find it here. The cleanser contains snail secretion filtrate. which removes excess sebum and dead skin whilst cleaning pores. which leaves skin smooth, soft and supple. No snails are harmed in the making of the product, which is also good. I found this a really good cleaner, especially for dry skin as its very hydrating.
The final product is from the brand Lee Jiham. and it is the Vita Propolis Ampoule. This is £24.90, and can be found here. This is a light serum, made of 50% propolis. The serum contains multi-vitamins, which help to smooth out skin tone, combat dullness and revitalises the skin. The serum is free from parabens, silicones, colourants, alcohol and mineral oils. I found this a really nice base for moisturizer, and it really helped to make the skin smooth and clear.
Overall, I was really pleased with all the products from The Silk Rose. I would really recommend them if you're looking to try some new brands, and their service is great.
