Today's post is going to be all about Degustabox, which is a monthly subscription box where you can discover and try out new brands/products. The box itself is £12.99 a month, but I do have a code (non-affiliate for those who aren't a fan of that kind of thing) which is 'SRMJ9' and that will take your first box down to only £7.99 including postage. If you watch my YouTube videos, you may have seen some of my unboxing videos, which can be found from 2017: August | September | October | November | December and 2018: January . Feel free to go back and watch these if you are interested in what was in the previous boxes for the past 6 months. Alternatively you can have a look on the Degustabox website, Facebook page or Instagram account.
So, in to this months box...
PRODUCT OF THE MONTH - Primrose's Kitchen Raw Beetroot & Ginger Muesli (RRP: £4.99)
So the first item and product of the month is the Primrose's Kitchen Raw Beetroot and Ginger Muesli, retailing at £4.99. Described as 'A vital and delicious combination of fresh English beetroot, zingy ginger, British gluten free oats and virgin coconut oil. Balanced with a combination of nuts, seeds and extra love in the form of psyllium husk and chia, our muesli is handmade and slowly dehydrated at low temperatures to preserve nutrients and flavour.' - In other words, there is quite a lot going on in this muesli! Made in Dorset, this product is also completely vegan and gluten free.
Further information about Primrose's kitchen can be found on their website, Facebook page, Twitter page, or Instagram account.
True Nopal Cactus Water (RRP: £3.49)
The next item in the box is the True Nopal Cactus water, which retails at £3.49 and can be found in selected stores (click here for a list of stockists). With inspiration from the desert, this is made from the prickly pear which grows on the Nopal cactus. With no added sugar, this cactus water provides 100% hydration and also contains less calories than coconut water. Described as having a 'clean, crisp, refreshing and light taste with berry undertones, this makes a great alternative to other sugary soft drinks. It contains no sweeteners, no preservatives, no sodium/fat, and is suitable for vegans.
To find out more information about True Nopal you can take a look at their website, Facebook page, Twitter or Instagram.
The Protein Ball Co.'s Cherry & Almond Protein Balls (RRP: £1.99 each)
Also in the box were two packs of The Protein Ball Co.'s Cherry & Almond protein balls. These have a retail price of £1.99 each, and are described as 'A sweet handful of raw pitted dates, free-range egg white protein, juicy sultanas and sour cherries. They have similarities in flavour with the classic cherry bakewell, but are great if you are looking for a snack with high protein!' They are also gluten free, and contain no added sugars, soy or GMO's.
Dr. Karg's Organic Emmental Cheese & Pumpkin Seed Crispbread (RRP: £2)
The fourth item in the box is the Dr. Karg's Organic Emmental Cheese & Pumpkin Seed Crispbread pack, which retails at £2, and can be found in selected Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Wholefoods Markets and Planet Organic stores, as well as selected local independant delis, farm shops or health food stores. Described as an 'organic delight with wholegrain natural fibre and no additives. A crispy and crunchy combination of an extra big helping of pumpkin seeds with aromatic, nutty Emmental cheese.'
Emily Crisps - Crunchy Fig Banana, Red Apple or Pineapple (RRP: £0.99 each)
Next in the box is a product from Emily Crisps, which is a brand I have discovered recently prior to this box and have tried some of their products before. In your box you will receive one of three flavours - Fig Banana (the one I received), Red Apple (which I have tried and love) and Pineapple (which I am yet to try!). Emily Crips is a range of fruit and vegetable crisps made from only the finest and freshest produce, and is now available across the whole of the UK.
For further info, take a look at the Emily Crisps website, or their Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages.
Indie Bay Snacks Pretzel Bites - Sunflower or Quinoa (RRP: £2.49)
Also in the box is the Indie Bay Pretzel Bites. I received the Sunflower flavour, but you may receive the Quinoa flavour. Described as 'A bit like pretzels, but better! Indie Bay Snacks have reinvented the classics with ingredients such as Spelt and Quinoa so they are crunchier, tastier and healthier. A delicious source of fibre and protein, and contain fewer than 100 calories per portion.
Tootsie Roll Midgees (RRP: £2.50)
Next in the box was a bag of Tootsie Roll Midgees, which are bite-size versions of the famous Tootsie Roll, which has been around since 1896, and is an authentic American candy.
KitKat Chunky New York Cheesecake Bar (RRP: £0.65)
Also in the box was a product from a brand I definitely know (arguably too well) and love, and that is the KitKat brand! I hadn't tried this particular bar before, but it was very nice and a nice twist on the regular KitKat Chunky. Described as 'An indulgent layer of creamy New York Cheesecake combined with a crispy wafer and thick milk chocolate'.
Haribo Fruitilicious Sweets (RRP: £1.29 each)
The final items in the box are two bags of the new Haribo Fruitilicious sweets, which retail at £1.29 each. Containing 30% less sugar than regular fruit gum sweets, these offer fruity flavours such as strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, orange, apple and lemon. They come in little fruit shaped, smiley faced pieces, and went down well with my two brothers especially who really enjoyed them!
So that was everything in February's box! I hope you all enjoyed having a look inside and I can't wait to try everything! Was there any products in particular that stood out to you?
Also thank you to Degustabox for gifting me the box, and this post isn't sponsored.
