Max Factor Haul / Review!

Hi Everyone!

Today I am going to be doing a haul/review post about some makeup products I recently tried from Max Factor. Max Factor is one of those classic brands, and has been a brand I have seen and used for many years, and I personally think it is quite under-rated. I have tried a few of the newer releases from the brand, and thought I would share my thoughts!

All of the Max Factor products are available to buy from the Boots website, or in some Boots stores. You can also buy from other retailers, such as Superdrug and Look Fantastic,

All of the products mentioned in this post are under £15, and so are really affordable, and the products are often on offer too!

The first product I tried is the Miracle Match foundation. I got this in the shade Light Ivory, which is the palest shade. I find the shade suits me well, and is slightly cool toned. It isn't the palest shade ever, so if you do have very fair skin then this may be too dark. I really enjoyed using this foundation, and it has become one of my favourites. I find it has a medium level of coverage, and doesn't wear off easily. I love that it isn't too heavy on my skin, and it also doesn't make my skin really oily. This foundation is £12.99 to buy, and you can find it here.

The next product I tried is the CC Colour Correcting Stick in the Purple shade. This is a colour-correcting crayon, which is used to correct dullness and make the skin appear more luminous and awake. The texture is quite creamy, and blends out well. It is quite pigmented, and is enough to correct but not too much that it can't be covered. The crayon design makes it really easy to use as you can draw it on the areas you wish to cover. There are five other options of the CC stick to choose from, depending on your skin. The stick is £8.99 to buy, and you can find it here.

The third product I tried is the Creme Puff blusher, in the colour Gorgeous Berries. I have a few of the Creme Puff blushers already, and I really enjoy using them. The texture is very soft, and pigmented but not too harsh. They blend really well and have a very nice colour range. The blushers have a marbled effect, meaning there's more than one tone which I like as it makes it look more natural. The blushers are £8.99 each, and you can find them here. There are five more shades to choose from, and they are all really lovely.

The next product I tried is the 2000 Calorie Waterproof mascara. I don't usually go for waterproof mascara, but this one is actually really nice, as it doesn't clump and it isn't really hard to get off either. It makes the lashes lifted, voluminous and even, and I find it lasts really well. The brush has bristles, rather than plastic which I personally prefer as it gives a much more natural and soft look. This mascara is £7.99 and you can find it here.

The final product I tried is one of the lipsticks from the Marilyn Monroe Collection. This is a collection of four lipsticks, all in different shades of red. The collection is inspired by Marilyn Monroe, who was famous for her love of red lipsticks. I tried the shade Sunset Red, which is a beautiful light orange-red, which I really love for summer. The lipstick formula is very creamy, highly pigmented and offers a lovely shine. It lasts a long time, and isn't drying on the lips.

Overall, I was really impressed with the products I tried from Max Factor, and I would definitely recommend all of them. All of the products are affordable, but very good quality. I continue to use these products on a regular basis and I am really happy with the results they give.

Thanks for reading!
