Hello Everyone!
Today I am going to be doing a candle-related post, and the brand of candles I am going to be talking about is called Clive's Candles. Clive's candles are handmade in the UK (His studio is in Swadlincote) and are also made from as many British ingredients as possible.
I tried two scents from the 'In a tin' range of candles, which are designed to look decorative, as well as giving off fragrance. All of the tins are £10 each, and there are 19 scents to choose from! Each candle has a burn time of approximately 40-45 hours, and has a scent throw of up to 12 feet.
The first scent I tried is Oriental Fusion. This is described as 'A very, very pale yellow candle that is truly exotic with an intoxicating blend of lemongrass and ginger from India and South East Asia. Light this stimulating, yet sensual candle and enjoy the tangy citrus scent followed by a hint of hot spice from the ginger.' As the description suggests this is a very spicy yet zesty candle and the mix of the lemongrass and ginger work really well. This is a very nice candle to have in the living room or bathroom, as it gives a very warm and fresh smell.
The other scent I tried is called Tropical Heat. This is my favourite out of the two, and is described as 'A vibrant yellow candle that'll whisk you away. With a mix of pineapple and coconut, this truly great smelling candle will remind you of faraway holidays." This is a very sweet and fruity smelling candle, and I just can't get enough of it! The coconut really helps to compliment the pineapple, and makes the candle not too intensely sweet, which I really love.
Both of the candles gave off a really great scent, and the fragrance was very strong. I really enjoyed using both of the candles, and they lasted really well. The candles didn't tunnel and no wax was wasted which I think is great. The tin candles make a nice decoration to the home, and I was really happy with them. I would definitely recommend checking Clive's Candles out, as he has created an excellent range, with many types of products and they are really good quality.
Thanks for reading,
