Hairy Jayne Haircare Review!

Hello again!

Today I am going to be talking about a haircare brand I recently discovered called Hairy Jayne. Hairy Jayne is a handmade haircare company, and specializes in making products from natural ingredients, and products that really do work.

All of the products are paraben & sulphate free, as well as cruelty-free and free from artificial colours.

You can take a look at the Hairy Jayne website here. All the products are reasonably priced and there is a wide selection to suit all needs!

The first product I got was the nourishing shampoo. I got this in the floral scent, which you can purchase here. This shampoo is made from water, aloe vera, honey-quat, sulphate free cleansers (originating from coconuts!), glycerin, citric acid and some essential oils. This shows all the products are as natural as possible, and so are very ethical as well as being better for your hair. The floral fragrance is described as 'geranium, bergamot and vanilla'. Personally I found the product wasn't heavily scented, which I personally prefer. I really loved this shampoo, it made my hair really soft and managable, as well as cleaning it but not too harshly. I would definitely use this again, as I find it really hard to make products work for me!

The second product I got is the treatment conditioner. Again I got this in the floral scent, and you can buy it here. This conditioner is made from water, rice bran oil, olive oil, btms (from rapeseed oil), wheat protein, honey-quat, silk amino acid and essential oils. The floral fragrance like the shampoo wasn't too intense which I prefer. I found this worked really well with the shampoo and didn't leave my hair feeling weighed down or greasy. I really enjoyed using both the shampoo and conditioner together and really liked the feel they gave.

The final product I tried was the hair perfume. I got this in the citrus scent, which is described as grapefruit, may chang and jasmine. You can purchase this here. The idea behind this is that it freshens your hair inbetween washes, as well as having heat protection. I really like the idea of this, and I really enjoy using it. The scent is very fresh and zesty, and the product doesn't leave any residue. I really love to use this after washing my hair as a heat protectant as it feels really light. The ingredients in this are perfumers alcohol, essential oils and cyclomethicone (the heat protectant).

Overall I am really happy with all of the products I tried from Hairy Jayne and I would really suggest trying their products if you are looking for a smaller business to support. The products are really worth it and I will definitely be considering the brand again in the future!

Thanks for reading!
