Today's post is going to be all about tea!
I recently got a few items from a company called Adagio Teas. Adagio Teas is a company who sells wide range of loose, and bagged teas as well as some great gift sets and also some teaware. All of the products mentioned can be bought at their website here. They have an amazing variety of tea, and I think this website is great if you're really into trying new flavours/varieties.
Here are the items I got:
ingenuiTEA Teapot
The ingenuitea teapot is made to be used with loose tea, and makes the whole process easier. It works by putting the tea leaves and boiling water inside, waiting for it to brew and then placing the teapot onto the cup after brewing and it releases the tea into the cup! With this particular size, you can make two cups. There is a bigger size available, if you want one for parties etc. You can buy this here for £16. The teapot is dishwasher safe, and easy to use and clean. I found this made the overall effort of making the tea much easier and I really enjoy using it! It does contain a filter, so you don't have to worry about having the leaves in your cup, and the teapot is also made from BPA-free plastic.
Tea Samples
So I then got four sample sachets of loose tea. The tea is available either loose or in teabags, so if you have a preference, you can choose it.
The first flavour I got was Masala Chai. This is a spiced tea, and is made from Ceylon black tea, cinnamon, cardamom and ginger. The sample size is £1.70, and makes roughly 10 cups. You can buy the Masala Chai tea here, and it does come in bigger sizes, so if you really like it you can buy more! I found the flavour of this was very warm and comforting, and if you like the taste of spice, you will really like this. I think this would be a great winter tea as it's very comforting.
The next flavour I got was Earl Grey Moonlight. This has traditional flavours of Earl Grey but is also combined with cream and vanilla to give it a softer taste. The sample packet is £1.50 and can be bought here. I found this was a really lovely softer, sweeter version of traditional Earl Grey, which really appeals to me as I love sweet tastes.
Next I got Cocomint green, which is a combination of green tea, chocolate and mint. The price of this sample packet is £1.75, and can be bought here. I really like the alternative twist with this tea, it's nothing like I've ever had before, and was very enjoyable! It tastes just like mint chocolates, and I found this is really nice as an evening tea. The flavours aren't too strong which I really like as I don't like strong mint flavours, but this is very light and refreshing.
The next type of tea I tried was Caramel, which is a combination of Ceylon black tea with sugar-free caramel. This is £1.50 for the sample size, and can be bought here. I found this was a very rich tea compared to the others, and was really nice when I felt like something a little more sweet and intense. This is a very homely and comforting drink and I think again this would be a great tea for cold evenings. Although the flavor was strong it wasn't sickly and I was really pleased about that.
Finally the last type of tea I tried was called Berry Blast, which is actually a decaf tea, and is made with rose hips, hibisicus, cranberries, natural forest berries and blueberries. This is £2 for the sample pack and is available to buy here. This was probably my favourite tea of them all, and was a really great mixture of sweetness but with a slight tang from the berries. This is a really refreshing and light tea, and is great for making iced tea with.
